Bible Student Chronology - LINKS

Differences with Charles Taze Russell's chronology in "The Time is at Hand," is often based on the work of Edwin R. Thiele. His doctoral dissertation, later published as "The Mysterious Numbers of the Hebrew Kings" is widely regarded as the definitive work on the chronology of Hebrew kings. Thiele's work is largely the basis for alternate chronologies as presented in the book, "Gentile Times Reconsidered" by Carl Olof Jonsson and "The Stream of Time" by David Rice. However, over time, Thiele's work has come under increasing doubt and criticism in recent years, particularly from Christian scholars. Under "Chronology Links" below are some links to Christian scholars who challenge a number of Thiele's conclusions.
